FAQ

Welcome! We're so glad you're interested in worshipping with us! If you don't see an answer to your question, feel free to contact Karen Shumaker.

What times are the worship services?

Worship times are 8:30 a.m. for the traditional service and 10:30 a.m. for the contemporary service. During the summer months, the 8:30 a.m. service is held at our outdoor pavilion.

To get to the Sanctuary, enter the main doors and turn left at the library.

The outdoor pavilion is easily accessed by parking in our lower lot and walking through our grass, side yard. Folks who need a more accessible route to the pavilion are welcome to drive down the right driveway to the back parking lot. From there, they'll walk through the preschool to the pavilion.

What about my kids?

We love kids and believe the entire HPC community benefits when children participate in at least a portion of the worship service alongside their families. We also have opportunities for children to connect with their peers:

  • From September-May, the Nursery is open for parents to use with their infants through 3 year olds during the 8:30 a.m. service and is staffed starting at 9:15 a.m. In the summer, child care is available for infants through 3 year olds during the 10:30 a.m. worship service.

  • Year-round, a Children's Moment happens during the 10:30 a.m. service and is followed by Children's Church upstairs for 4 year olds through 3rd graders.

  • During the school year, we also have Sunday School for ALL ages at 9:30 a.m. and Sunday evening programming as well.
