Ministries & Programs
Infants & Toddlers
At Hampton Presbyterian Church we place a high value on making sure we provide a safe and welcoming environment for your youngest children. Our Nursery Coordinator and staff, along with well-qualified volunteers provide opportunities for free play as well as structured activities (such as story time).
The Nursery opens at 9:15a for 9:30a Education and the 10:30a Service. Check out our Nursery Brochure for more information.
HPC Kids (Preschool - 5th Grade)
We love to partner with families in helping children to know Jesus and His love, to grow in Him, and to learn how to share His love with others! Our children’s program, commonly referred to as HPC Kids is for kids ages 3 years old through 5th graders. On a typical Sunday morning during the school year, there are Sunday School classes at 9:30a for preschoolers through 5th graders as well as Children's Church during the 10:30 a.m. Worship Service for 4 year olds through 2nd graders. On the 2nd & 4th Sundays of each month there are also HPC Kids activities at 6:00p. Check out our HPC Kids page.
Join us on the 1st and 3rd Sunday from 6:00p - 7:30p for K2Kicks (K-2nd Grades) and Club 345 (3rd-5th Grades) as we play, sing, create, and learn about God’s awesome love.
Children’s Church is offered during the 10:30a worship service for kids ages 3 years old through 7 years old. Kids begin in the worship service with their parents and are released to go upstairs after the Children's Message.
For more information, please email Children's Education Director, Karen Shumaker.
HPC Youth (6th - 12th Grade)
We offer a full slate of programs for Middle and High School Students. Our goal at Hampton Presbyterian Church is simple: "In response to the grace of Jesus Christ and in obedience to the Holy Spirit, our mission is to partner with families to make disciples of the youth of our community".
No matter who you are, how you dress, what car you drive or where you live, there is a place for you! So even if you never walk a foot back in the youth group door, join us at least once. You offer something no one else offers, you belong and you don’t need to be a member of HPC to be included.
If you want to find out more about the Youth Program, check out the weekly newsletter or send an email to Rev. Ryan Pixton, Associate Pastor of Youth & Outreach.
HPC offers educational and thoughtful discussions in matters of faith and life.
Join us at 9:30a on Sunday mornings for a rotating menu of class options.

HPC offers a broad music ministry for those with varying degrees of music abilities: Choir, Bells, Brass, Contemporary Band as well as a Youth Band. The focus is on leading worshippers to praise our Lord Jesus Christ through music. We welcome new members at any time.
HPC Kids perform a Children's Musical either around Christmas or Easter.
If the Lord has blessed you with a musical talent, please email Music Director, Kathy Sawyer.
Mission is the support, through prayer, personal participation and financial assistance, of any endeavor outside of our local congregation. Mission seeks to fulfill the Great Commission of Christ by proclaiming the gospel of Christ, making disciples and addressing the needs (spiritual, physical, emotional and social) of all people.
